Village Tour, Local Wine, Food Tasting

Service Description

15:00 We will meet at the main Gate of the old medieval city of Mdina. Accompanied with a tour guide you will be walking the streets of the amazing city and the nearby village. The guide will introduce you to the history, culture and customs that influenced our food. 17:00 Following the Tour by walk at the village of Rabat, few minutes away we will sit down at a local and traditional eating place. Where you will have the opportunity to taste a variety of Maltese Traditional Food including Gozo Wine and Maltese Beer Tasting. Our traditional Food includes, bread, olives, meats, cheeses, pasta and more rustic items such as snails or liver. We serve home made wines from a supplier from the Island of Gozo. Your tour guide will be guiding you through your tasting experience, hence explaining the origins of our cuisine. Tastes, smells and they way of interacting with food, is a gateway to a culture and the people that nourish it. What better way to get to know Malta if not from what its people eat! We have designed this Tour with the intention of providing a genuine Experience and gradually welcome you to our culinary culture. The Tasting will take around 1.5hrs.
